A-metodik is a family of 3 separate companies that work close together, We share our brand A-metodik, in our daily work our values are Committed, Professional, Team players. A-metodik offers consulting services in Civil engineering. Our company covers the entire time span for objects, from early ideas until the objects are completed and put into operation.
A-metodik – the story
A-metodik was started in 1990 by Per-Erik Wallin, the company’s focus was detailed design for civil engineering, water and sewer systems and sports arenas.
Standardized sports fields in Europe
During the 1990s, Per-Erik was involved as Sweden’s representative in the work of designing a CEN standard for sports turfs in Europe. Work on the CEN standard eventually led to the current FIFA standard for sports arenas, both indoors and outdoors, where the functional requirements of a sports arena are defined.
The company was run by Per-Erik until 2008 when his son, Tommy Wallin took over as the new owner of the company. In recent years, the ”family business” has strengthened its position in the market.
In 2012, Jimmy Eriksson joined as a new partner and CEO of the company.
In 2020, further reinforcements were made in the management functions when Magnus Sundling and Tomas Gustafsson joined as partners in the newly started company A-metodik Infra.
In 2022 Johan Sandström and Niklas Öhman joined as partners in the newly started company A-metodik Byggledning.
