In 2020 and 2022 respectively, A-metodik supported Gestamp Hardtech in the planning and realisation of two similar projects regarding disassembly of a hot stamping press line at the plant in Luleå, Sweden One project in 2020, and a similar project in 2022, including preparation for transport to another Gestamp plant where the equipment later was reassembled.

A-metodik provided a Project Manager with local plant knowledge that was responsible for the planning of Health & Safety arrangements and risk assessments. During the disassembly work, the Project Manager was responsible for daily supervision of Health and Safety. The first project included several challenging phases, e.g., opening of the production hall roof, heavy load lifts with an external mobile crane through the roof. The most challenging aspect in both projects was the daily coordination with the production in the adjacent primary hot stamping line (in the same production facility), where no major disturbances were allowed. During the projects several short, planned breaks in power supply, methanol supply, fire alarm, HVAC etc. was coordinated in the production hall – with a principal objective to minimize effects on regular production.
